Vue JS

An open-source JavaScript framework for fast, responsive single-page applications — a strong alternative to React and Angular.

Vue.js lets us build fast, responsive single-page applications and interfaces, with a focus on user-centric design and usability. It's a strong alternative to React and Angular, and works well across industries — health, finance, education, and especially e-commerce stores and apps.

Our Vue.js developers bring comprehensive knowledge of the framework, delivering solid UI solutions within a short timeframe — without cutting corners on flexibility or performance.

Beyond development, we offer Vue.js consulting, modernisation and migration of existing applications, and ongoing 24×7 support and maintenance.

Is Vue right for you?

Often the friendliest framework to start with, and it scales further than people expect.

Vue is popular with teams that want a modern interface without a steep learning curve. Here is when it shines and when something else may serve you better.

Vue is a strong fit when

  • You want a modern interface quickly, with a gentle learning curve so your own team can maintain it later.
  • You are adding interactive parts to an existing site, such as a calculator, filters or a checkout, rather than rebuilding everything.
  • A small or mid-sized team wants flexibility without heavy ceremony.
  • You run an online store and want fast product browsing, filtering and a smooth cart experience.

Think twice if

  • Your organisation already standardises on Angular or React, and hiring or support depends on that choice.
  • You are building a very large enterprise suite where strictly enforced structure matters more than speed.
  • The site is mostly static content. Plain HTML or a CMS will load faster and cost less.
  • You still have a Vue 2 app. Vue 2 reached end of life on 31 December 2023 and needs an upgrade plan.
How Vue works in practice

Progressive by design, and what that means for your project.

Vue is described as a progressive framework. You can drop it into a single page of an existing site, or build a full single-page application with routing and state management, using the same core ideas. That makes it practical for businesses that cannot afford a full rebuild. We often recommend adding Vue only where interactivity pays for itself, and leaving the rest of the site simple and fast.

Current Vue (version 3) uses the Composition API, which keeps related logic together and makes code easier to test. Pinia handles shared state and Vue Router handles navigation. When search visibility matters, Nuxt adds server-side rendering so public pages are fully readable by search engines on the first load.

If your application still runs on Vue 2, it is past its official end of life. We assess the code and plan a staged upgrade, so new features keep shipping while the foundation is modernised underneath.

How we work

A clear path from idea to launch.

  1. 1
    Step 1

    Scope the interface

We agree which screens and interactions matter most and where Vue earns its place in your site.

  2. 2
    Step 2

    Design components

Reusable building blocks, such as buttons, forms and cards, so the interface stays consistent as it grows.

  3. 3
    Step 3

    Build and integrate

We connect the interface to your backend, payment tools or third-party services through their APIs.

  4. 4
    Step 4

    Test and tune

Checks on real devices, accessibility basics and performance, so pages load quickly on ordinary phones.

  5. 5
    Step 5

    Release and support

Launch with monitoring in place, followed by continued development and support when you need it.

Common questions

Questions about building with Vue.

Yes, when it is structured well. Vue handles large applications comfortably with the Composition API, Pinia and Vue Router. Because the framework is flexible, the quality of the project structure matters most, and that is where experienced developers make the difference.

Vue 3 for anything new. Vue 2 stopped receiving official updates at the end of 2023, so existing Vue 2 apps should have an upgrade plan.

Yes. Vue can power a single widget or page, such as a quote calculator or product filter, without rebuilding the rest of the site.

Public content pages need server-side rendering or pre-rendering to be read reliably, which we add with Nuxt when search traffic matters. Behind a login SEO does not matter, so a plain single-page app is fine there.

Often yes. We start with a code review covering structure, dependencies and tests, then tell you what is worth keeping and what should be fixed first.

React gives you a library and many choices. Angular gives you a complete framework with strict structure. Vue sits between them, with official tools for routing and state and a gentler learning curve. None is universally best, so fit with your team and product should decide.
